I wonder is its a straight plug in job...
has anyone acctully got this in there car or was it not introduced in aus?

I have never heard of it in Australia at all, hell I haven't even seen a picture of it anywhere but in the owners manual.

it seems like alot of euro cars like the golf already have the wire and plugs in for different options on them when they leave the factory even if they dont have em, maybe like the climatic for example.
I have noticed this on my VR on a few things like plugs in the egine bay that dont plug into anything...
I also installed a euro fog light switch with the 2 "pull out" switch that activate the rear fog light then the front fog light. That was a plug and play job. no stuffing around with wiring. Here is aus we didnt get that fog light headlight option did we?
I dont know i get confused as too what different countries get on thier cars after a while lol
maybe the climatic is the same but i dont know...
